About this event

Veteran-Centric Care Across the Continuum

PTSD, Moral Injury, Soul Injury: How to Become an Agent of Hope and Healing

Samaritan invites you learn about the importance of providing veteran-centric care across the continuum.

Attend this conference to learn more about what it means to be Veteran-centric, how you can improve the care or service you provide to Veterans, and when and how to refer them to other services and supports.

Learning Objectives:

  1. This presentation will provide an eye-opening experience that awakens you to PTSD, Soul Injury, and Moral Injury.
  2. Learn about secondary wounding and the unique needs of Vietnam Veterans.
  3. Discover how the fear of helplessness and loss of control interferes with peaceful aging, complicating caregiving, and most importantly that Veterans need more than a “thank you.”
  4. Learn how to become an agent of hope and healing for our nation’s Veterans.
