Angie Snyder, Executive Director will be presenting More Than “Thank You” for your service.  This will be a pre-recorded session and made available through the Homecare and Hospice Associations of Utah and Colorado conference registration link.

Currently, there are few standardized programs that focus on providing tools to create a safe emotional environment for our Veterans so that they can share their stories, heal, and “come home” at last! Furthermore, civilians may not recognize their responsibility in supporting the reintegration of Veterans back into themselves.

​The goal is for Veterans, Veterans’ families, civilians, and healthcare providers to understand the unique needs that occur at the end of a Veteran’s life. Past trauma might express itself as agitation, complicating peaceful dying. “Soul injuries” may surface, which require different approaches if we are going to effectively respond.

This presentation will help you learn that Veterans need more than a “thank you” for their service, and you can become an agent of hope and healing for Veterans and their families.
