Attending Leadership Institute is the first step to becoming an Ambassador for Opus Peace. Upon graduation there will be many pathways of opportunities for you to follow.

Ambassador

DESCRIPTION: Someone, that has successfully completed the requirements associated with attending the Opus Peace Leadership Institute for Soul Injury.

PURPOSE: Advance the mission of Soul Injury in their community, workplace, civic organization, faith community, or other desired venue.
Activities may include:
  • Hosting a community-engagement event using the Soul Injury film or the Liberating Unmourned Loss film.
  • Facilitating a “Hero Within” or “Peace at Last” book community.
  • Providing a Soul Injury presentation using Opus Peace power points and slide shows, to your agency or professional conference.
  • Facilitating the services of Deborah Grassman or other Educators on the Opus Peace Speaker’s Bureau at your business, conference, or staff training event.
  • Facilitating a “Sole-to-Soul” café.
  • Hosting a booth or exhibit at a community event to educate the public about Soul Injury.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ambassadors who have a desire to promote the Soul Injury message using authorized, copyrighted Opus Peace materials in their communities and agencies are required to:

  • Attend a 4-day Leadership Institute for Soul Injury
  • Sign the Ambassador Agreement outlining the terms for using authorized materials.
  • Complete two coaching calls with a successful evaluation before making any presentations.
BENEFITS:
  • Fulfillment in being part of the Soul Injury movement.
  • Member status of Opus Peace, which includes a 10% discount on all products and services.
  • Access to a personal mentor for 12 months following graduation.
  • Eligibility to participate in monthly educational webinars on Soul Injury.
  • Opportunity to return to Leadership Institute for further personal growth and development.
  • Opportunity to return to Leadership Institute to acquire further knowledge and skills in the pursuit of an Ambassador Pathway. Junior Intern- This opportunity comes with additional training days and reduced fees.
  • Opportunity to serve on an Opus Peace Advisory Council.

 


Opus Peace Institute Team Member

DESCRIPTION: An Ambassadoe that operates as part of a Team to conduct an Opus Peace Leadership Institute.

PURPOSE: This path is ideal for people who want to engage a few times a year with a team of like-minded people to bring the Soul Injury message to participants attending the Opus Peace Leadership Institute for Soul Injury. As part of the Institute team, these people are committed to their own personal and professional growth and want to be part of the Soul Injury movement. Team member roles might include:
  • Logistical support
  • Photography
  • Therapeautic Touch Environments
  • Mentoring participants
  • Coaching interns

REQUIREMENTS:

Institute Team Members must:

  • Attend a 4-day Leadership Institute for Soul Injury Educators.
  • Demonstrate their commitment to advancing their knowledge of Soul Injury through attendance of the Monthly Webinars.
  • Successfully complete a 6-day Level 1 Intern training which includes public speaker training.
  • These roles are reserved for accomplished Ambassadors, and filled by invitation only.
  • Sign a Team Member aggrement commiting to the criteria of their particular role.
BENEFITS:  
  • In exchange for the services they provide, Team Members return to Leadership Institute owing no Leadership Institute fees. (Their travel costs are self-funded)
  • All the benefits of an Ambassador.
  • Continued involvement with the Opus Peace Founders.
  • Continued networking with other Team Members, Opus Peace staff, and new Participants attending Leadership Institute.
  • The opportunity to return to Leadership Institute for an advanced level of training and responsibilities in pursuit of the Opus Peace Educator Pathway. Senior Intern - This opportunity comes with extra training days and reduced fees.
 

Opus Peace Soul Injury Educator

DESCRIPTION: An Ambassador that is qualified to speak on behalf of Opus Peace. They may speak at an Opus Peace secured event and/or an event identified and secured by the Educator.  This may be a compensated role.

PURPOSE:  This path is ideal for Ambassadors who want to educate people using Opus Peace products, programs and materials. Educators on this path are qualified to provide presentations, ceremonies, and workshops on several Soul Injury topics. The Educator becomes the recognized expert,using Opus Peace as the credible platform, to deliver a Soul Injury message that can be contextualized to the Educator’s targeted population.They are able to present copyrighted Opus Peace materials independently by securing speaking engagements themselves,  not identified by Opus Peace.  This allows them to distinguish themselves from other organizations by providing Soul Injury presentations and services. 

REQUIREMENTS:
Educators must:
  • Attend a 4-day Leadership Institute for Soul Injury
  • Successfully complete a 6-day, Junior Intern training, that includes public speaker training.
  • Successfully complete a 6-day, Senior Intern, training, which includes coaching for professional presentations, ceremonies, and workshop facilitation
  • Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement that authorizes them to speak on behalf of Opus Peace, and be paid for their experetise.
BENEFITS:  
  • Become a member of the Opus Peace Speakers Bureau
  • Generate revenue by speaking on behalf of Opus Peace, at an event scheduled through, and secured by Opus Peace.
  • Generate revenue by scheduling and securing their own presentations, and speaking engagements. During these opportunities the Educator will manage their own client communications, negotiations, and collection activities independent of Opus Peace.
  • May also be an Opus Peace Leadership Institute TeamMember.
